Bihar Police SI / Sergeant Selection Stages
As per the existing Recruitment Rules of BPSSC, the Bihar Police Sub Inspector / Sergeant / Jail Superintendent Selection Process shall have the following stages as under –
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
- Physical Measurement Test & Physical Endurance Test

Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern

- Questions will be objective in nature.
- Preliminary Examination will carry negative marks of 0.2 for every wrong answer attempted.
- Minimum Cut Off Marks to qualify this stage is 30 % ( 60 marks ).
- 20 times of the vacancies will be shortlisted on the performance of this test for the Mains Examination.

Bihar Police SI Mains Written Exam Pattern
The Mains Written Exam of BPSSC Daroga Recruitment shall have two papers – Paper I & Paper-II. Subjects & Mark Distribution of the Test is as under –

- Both of these papers shall have a time duration of 2 hours each.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in this Stage is –
- 40% for General Candidates
- 36.5 % for EBC Candidates
- 34% for BC Candidates
- 32% for SC / ST & Female Candidates
Bihar Police Sub Inspector Physical Endurance Test
The Qualified candidates of BPSSC SI Mains Exam shall have to appear for the PET & PMT. Among the two test, the Physical Measurement of the candidates will be verified first. After the PMT ( Physical Measurement Test ), the shortlisted ones shall have to appear for the Physical Endurance Test ( PET ). According to the notification, qualifying this stage ( PMT & PET) is a must for every applicant. Failure to qualify the PMT & PET shall make the candidates ineligible for the final selection.
