The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) for its various research centres across the country had announced 641 Vacancies of Technician. Regarding this Vacancy notification, the Organisation has successfully completed the Computer Based Test (CBT). It is to note that the aspirants who are shortlisted in the CBT Result will be finally selected as there is no further steps of selection process. Qualifying Marks in ICAR IARI Technician CBT

Aspirants who participated in the IARI Recruitment Test, should note that the Selection of the Technician is through a Computer Based Test/Examination. The CBT will have MCQ which will have 4 answers out of which candidate has to choose the correct one .Now, regarding the marking scheme, each question carries one mark and for each wrong answer ¼ (0.25) mark shall be deducted. According to the Official Recruitment Notification, the Qualifying marks in ICAR IARI Technician CBT is as under

40% for UR
30% for SC/OBC-NCL/EWS and
25% for ST.

Thus, the participants who score less than the qualifying marks stands disqualified in the selection process of Technician.

ICAR IARI Technician Result 2022 – Normalisation Method

We all know that ICAR IARI Technician CBT was held across multiple shifts which had different question paper for each shift. So, ICAR Recruitment Cell will go for the normalisation by method considering the difficulty level of questions each set. The formula for ICAR IARI Technician Normalisation Method is as under –

Normalized Score for each candidate = (S2/S1)*(X-Xav)+Yav

Where –

S2	Is the SD of the shift with the Highest Average Score taken as Base for normalisation (Criteria for choosing the base for normalisation is generally taken as the shift with ‘Highest Average’ of raw scores)
S1	Standard Deviation for the corresponding shift (to be scaled to S2)
X	Raw score of a candidate
Xav	Simple average of the Shift
Yav	Average corresponding to shift with highest Average (taken as Base for normalization)

Tie Breaking Rules for ICAR IARI Technician Result 2022

There may be a tie during ICAR IARI prepares the Technician Result 2022. In that case, wherever two or more candidates have secure equal aggregate marks, the merit of the candidates shall be determined by applying the following Tie-Breaker Rules in following order of precedence: –

Candidate obtaining higher marks in matriculation or equivalent.
Candidate senior in age will be ranked higher.
If age is same, then the merit list will be in alphabetical order of first name of the candidates.
