Selection Stages in SSC CGL Exam

Staff Selection Commission or SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination has four stage of selection in general. However, the subjects according to the category shall differ for some particular category of posts. In the Selection Process, the Tier 1 is the Preliminary Exam and is screening in nature. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier 2 based on the score of Tier 1 Exam. The marks in the Tier 1 will not be used in the overall merit list calculation. However, we suggest the aspirants to score the maximum in the Tier 1 Exam. The Final Selection or Allotment of the candidates in SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 will be according to the rank in the merit list. Actually, the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination Selection Process consist of the following four tiers/stages as given below:
