Educational Qualification
Candidates should have completed Graduation ( Bachelors Degree ) under 10+2+3 pattern from a UGC Recognised University. Also, the applicant should have studied the Tamil language in X/XII level. But the applicants who have not studied Tamil as a language then he/ she shall have to pass the Tamil language Test within two years of the selection in Tamil Nadu Police. This means candidates without Tamil Language Skill can also apply for the SI Posts.
